New Lead Disclosure Ordinance

Philadelphia's new Lead Disclosure Ordinance takes effect Thursday, April 6, 2017. GPAR's Lead Hazard Task Force has drafted an initial Lead Hazard Disclosure Addendum to Lease. Click here to download the document. It is advised that members use this document along with the lease agreement to comply with the new ordinance. 

Therefore, according to the requirements under the Lead Disclosure Ordinance, the following documents have to be provided with the lease agreement: 

1.    A signed Lead Hazard Disclosure Addendum to Lease;
2.    Partner for Good Housing; and
3.    Supplementary Page- Lead Service Line Disclosure; 

Please do not forget to provide the Federal law required EPA Handbook on lead-based paint.
