Wanted: Members for 2021 GPAR Board of Directors

Are you looking to serve others, grow your leadership skills, improve your professional development, build industry relationships and networking opportunities and, most importantly, contribute your creative energy to an association that touches every corner of Philadelphia? If you said yes, then becoming a member of the 2021 GPAR Board of Directors might be for you.

As a member of the board, you will help GPAR deliver value to our more than 3,100 members. You will be involved in Association finances, program development, policy creation and governing. The Board will rely on your experience, knowledge, judgment, communication skills and spirit to advance GPAR initiatives.

The first step in the process, which has been established in accordance with our bylaws, is submitting your resume and completed a 2021 Board of Directors Candidate Application Form to matthew@gpar.org by no later than October 23, 2020.

Applicants seeking a Line Officer position – President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer – must read this Notice for Publication as well as download, complete and submit a 2021 Line Officer Candidate Application Form to GPAR’s legal counsel.

Your packet will then be reviewed by our Nominating Committee. The committee is tasked with identifying qualified GPAR members to serve on the Board of Directors. They are seeking members with integrity, professionalism and a history of active involvement and support of GPAR. All applicants will be notified by November 13, 2020.
