Bright is the MLS, or Multiple Listing Service, for the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. Bright provides the real estate community with products and services to facilitate the sale of properties and establish contractual offers of compensation. The term “MLS” also refers to the system that real estate professionals use to enter and access information. But Bright MLS is much more than that. Bright wants to empower everyone to get more out of the MLS. As part of the Bright community, subscribers have access to:
Broader Listing Coverage: Before Bright MLS, real estate professionals would need to belong to 9 separate MLSs to access the listings and information that are at your fingertips every time you login to Bright. Bright offers full access to this broad geography, which spans 40,000 square miles and 20 million consumers.
MLS Simplified: Bright MLS reduces duplication, so a larger group of subscribers will only have one set of rules, one fee, one system and one process to run their businesses successfully.
Improved Products: We’re a long way from listing books, but the online MLS systems haven’t made the drastic changes seen in other technology-focused fields. Bright wants to change that. They believe the MLS system should be intuitive and easy to use, while still providing the power and level of information real estate professionals need to run their business. These tools go beyond basic MLS and Public Records search and reporting, and many will be included in the standard fee.
Robust Property Information: Bright provides 9 million on/off market listings with 12 million parcels. They are deeply integrated, with analytics to measure listing performance, as well as drive research and marketing efforts.
Reduced Technology Costs: Brokers and their vendors experience reduced technology costs and freed internal resources due to implementing fewer MLS data sets into their back-office and consumer websites.
The Bright system offers:
Listing data (on/off market) for all primary counties
Public records for all primary and adjacent counties
Mobile-optimized Add & Edit listings
Schedule a showing through ShowingTime
Mobile app with listing and public records search
Combined listing and public records reports
Drive-time lifestyle-based searching
Predictive and performance analytics
